Interactive
Little Eddie
Little Eddie is an interactive environment that encourages participants to playfully explore a virtual world through a character. Guide Eddie by creating bridges that enable him to discover new areas of his world. Through delving into the environment, your relationship with the character is nurtured through cooperation and reactions to new environmental elements.
The project is inspired by game environments that contain likeable characters and interactives with open narratives, including Creatures and Vector Park. Little Eddie was developed to be loosely based on interactive advertising: encouraging relationships with brands through play. The project differs by not prominently displaying a brand; instead Little Eddie is the brand character, portraying his personality through the interaction with the player and virtual environment and allowing the participant to easily create a direct relationship with the brand.
Conceptual Development
The initial concept included using the body to help Little Eddie move through his world. The environment was later re-scoped for participants to create bridges for Eddie

I am a graphic and web designer with a Bachelor of Creative Industries, majoring in Communication Design while minoring in Advertising.
I'm a sucker for lots of details and colour and I love things that have an out of the box idea behind them.
